Objectives

To assist agricultural workers to demand their labour and tenure rights

To provide legal advice and support to workers to enforce their labour and tenure rights

To improve the effectiveness of paralegals’ representation of farm workers in labour dispute resolution

To strengthen rural organizations to effectively address the needs of indigent, rural agricultural workers, through skills training in Alternative Conflict Resolution, Organizational skills and CCMA processes

To facilitate improved understanding and awareness of power relations between farm worker and farmer that impacts on labour procedures, amongst CCMA commissioners

To facilitate co-operation between and forge strategic partnerships with organisations to facilitate speedier access to legal and procedural recourse
